The Genesis of Good Health Uses pure natural extracts, no sugar, no alcohol, just pure and natural extracts! Growing Old Was Never Supposed To Be A Bad Thing !
At what age would you consider your life to be complete?
Many of our forefathers lived Healthy, Productive lives well into their 100s. How did they do it? Did they all have season passes to the "Fountain Of Youth"? N. but they most likely ate and drank from the fields, forests, and streams of the Holy Land! These foods have been discovered to contain "miracle-like molecules" that could have played a big part in supporting many body functions from head to toe, thus possibly accounting for their good health and longevity. Let’s examine the "miracle-like molecules that are contained in some of these foods. Anti Aging Secrets of the Fruit of the Vine - A Major Discovery ! By studying large wine drinking populations, epidemiologists established a connection between wine consumption and prevention of diseases ranging from cancer, to Alzheimers to heart disease. A research study in Denmark showed that moderate wine drinkers significantly reduced their overall risk of dying from ANY cause when compared to non drinkers, consequently the Danish researchers concluded that wine must possess some other component responsible for its healthful properties. 1 The reason that many of the worlds finest grapes are able to survive and flourish in inhospitable environments is that the grape plant is teeming with special guardian compounds called phytoalexins ( Greek for plant protector). Grape skins in particular produce phytoalexins to protect themselves from dehydration, nutrient deprivation, ultraviolet radiation and assault from pathogenic organisms. In essence, they are the plant’s anti-aging weapon. NOW YOU CAN TAKE HEART! Several plants have made the scientific leap from a "plant protector" to an anthropalexin - "protector of humankind". Anthocyanins are one such group, deriving their purple color from the skin of red and purple grapes and dark berries such as the mulberry. As potent antioxidants, anthocyanins protect artery walls from damage that can lead plaque build up and heart disease. In fact, the latest research shows that anthocyanins do a better job of protecting arteries than vitamins C and E. 2 IT WASNT THE ALCOHOL THAT DID THE "JOB" Resveratrol In 1992, investigative scientists identified a grape compound called Resveratrol., which was consequently linked to a low incidence of heart disease in the French who eat a notoriously fatty diet . This phenomenon is called the French Paradox . What the researchers learned was that the French were protected by drinking red wine; but that it wasn’t the alcohol, but was specifically a "miracle like" molecule in the red wine called Resveratrol, and that Resveratrol is involved in LITERALLY HUNDREDS of interconnected bodily processes. Virtually every discovery of a positive effect in one area has pointed toward totally unexpected benefits in other conditions as well. GOODNESS FROM HEAD TO TOE For example, some of Resveratrol’s cardiovascular benefits result from the fact that it is a strong antioxidant and active against a wide range of free radicals ( unstable , destructive oxygen molecules linked to disease and premature death ). This allows Resveratrol to inhibit platelet aggregation ( blood clotting) and the oxidation of LDL ( bad ) Cholesterol, two of the primary factors contributing to plaque formation in the arteries. 3 But this very same antioxidant activity has led clinicians to look at Resveratrol’s ability to protect brain cells from the oxidative damage associated with Alzheimers disease. 4
Some of Resveratrol’s cardiovascular benefits are also attributed to the fact that it is a phytoestrogen, a compound that mimics the beneficial effects of estrogen without the harmful effects. By sparing estrogen , Resveratrol protects against diseases associated with hormonal imbalance including breast cancer, prostate cancer, osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease. 5 Another research study has begun to shed some light on Resveratrol’s anti-cancer and immune-stimulating effects. In in-vitro studies, Resveratrol inhibited tumors during all three stages in the early development of cancer. 6 PAIN RELIEF NATURALLY ? Besides all of Resveratrol’s aforementioned qualities, it is important to note that it inhibits a pro-inflammatory enzyme called cylooxygenase-2, or COX-2 for short. 7 It has recently been reported that the newest class of COX-2 pain reliever drugs pose unacceptable dangers to many users and some have side effects that could even prove fatal. These are very valid reasons for wanting to inhibit the presence of COX-2 with ALL NATURAL, and TOTALLY SAFE COX-2 inhibitors that are found in nature such as Resveratrol. Quercetin Belongs to the class of polyphenols called flavonoids., which are plant pigments that give color to organic materials. They are highly powerful antioxidants which have demonstrated a broad range of therapeutic activity. Quercetin is most abundantly found in red grape skins. BEAUTIFUL IN COLOR AND IMPORTANT TO OUR HEALTH IN MANY WAYS ! Pomegranate’s Hydroxylated Polyphenols - A growing body of evidence shows that hydroxylated polyphenols work against cancer at all phases of its development. The American Cancer Society now advises concerned individuals to increase their daily consumption of fruits containing these potent anthropalexins. In 2000, a team of food scientists at the University of California found that pomegranate juice proved to be three times more potent than even green tea., and far superior to blueberry, cranberry and orange. The California researchers continued to demonstrate that pomegranate contains an abundance of protective anthropalexins, including anthcyanins, resveratrol and ellagitannins ( the stable food form of ellagic acid). PROTECTION, PREVENTION AND MORE ? Ellagic acid, in particular, is unique in its multi-phase attack on cancer. First, it binds to carcinogens in the body and renders them harmless. Ellagic acid helps the body to detoxify carcinogens on its own as well. This activity is enhanced by the fact that ellagic acid also inhibits other enzymes that seek to convert carcinogens into more destructive forms. Finally, new molecular level studies have shown that ellagic acid binds to healthy DNA thus preventing carcinogens from attacking and damaging our healthy DNA.8 Studies at the Medical University of South Carolina Hollings Cancer Center found that ellagic acid was able to prevent cancer even in persons with a genetic predisposition to the disease. Just as importantly, these hydroxylated polyphenols continue to work even after the tumors have taken hold. Like resveratrol, they have the ability to induce apoptosis ( programmed cell death ) in different types of cancer cells. 9
GROW YOUNGER AND HEALTHIER AS YOU GROW OLDER ! Besides their anti-cancer activity, hydroxylated polyphenols have also shown great promise as powerful antioxidants helping to protect us against PREMATURE AGING associated with free radical damage. They also decrease lipid peroxidation, thereby preventing the oxidation of LDL cholesterol 10 ( the bad cholesterol which initiates plaque formation on artery walls ). Hydroxylated Polyphenols are also effective anti-viral and anti-bacterial agents, allowing them to protect against potentially dangerous food borne pathogens thus helping to protect against food poisoning WHAT DO EYES, MUSCLES / JOINTS, CIRCULATION AND YOUTHFUL GOOD LOOKS HAVE IN COMMON ? Mulberries - Like other dark colored berries and grapes, are rich in anthocyanins, potent antioxidants that give fruits their disease fighting properties . Anthocyanins are vasoprotective, particularly in the microcapillaries. 11 This property makes mulberries valuable to people with circulation related diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, glaucoma and varicose veins. Anthocyanins are also anti-inflammatory, inhibiting such pro-inflammatory compounds as histamine, leukotrienes and prostalandins, and also play an important role in stabilizing collagen.12 Since collagen forms all connective tissue including tendons, ligaments, cartilage and skin, mulberries could consequently play an important role in dealing with arthritis and other degenerative joint conditions. Of course, the vain among us would be happy to eat them just for the promise of healthier, younger looking skin ! So dance your muscles and joints "all around the mulberry bush" ! How can we add these amazing nutrients to our diet in a standardized form of the very highest quality and in meaningful amounts?
