NSA: Could you tell us about the development of Cobiozin?
Susser: In my many years of practice, I found that excess phlegm and mucus is a very common problem. I also noted that there was a common denominator of a deficiency of key nutrients. When these key nutrients are re-supplied and balance is re-established, the body no longer needs to produce phlegm and mucus. Therefore, I formulated a comprehensive combination of these nutrients and called it Cobiozin
NSA: How common is the problem of excess phlegm and mucus?
Susser: In my practice, as many as seven out of ten individuals indicate excess mucus in the body. To find out if an individual has excess mucus, I ask them.
NSA: What nutrients are provided by Cobiozin?
Susser: Cobiozin contains vitamins A (fish oil), C, B-12, pantothenic acid, calcium lactate and zinc gluconate, lemon bioflavonoid complex and thymus. It is in a base of rose hips, wheat germ, chlorophyll, and RNA from lymph and thymus. Vitamin A is very important because of its importance to the health of the mucus membranes in the body. Vitamin A is depleted rapidly when you stress the liver, for example, when you eat fatty foods. In addition, because the liver is the cleansing organ of the body, every time you consume preservatives, artificial colors or other additives, the liver has to go to work. Vitamin C is very important because the body cannot synthesize vitamin C so it must be provided in the diet every single day. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and has a number of important functions in the body. A number of factors cause us to use up vitamin C in the body faster: stress, fever, antibiotics, aspirin, synthetic cortisone, tobacco, etc. Each tablet of Cobiozin provides three times the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C, plus rose hips, and Lemon Bioflavonoid Complex, which can naturally support the functions of vitamin C. I also included Calcium Ascorbate and Magnesium Ascorbate to act as buffers, so that the Vitamin C is not too acidic for the body.
NSA: What is the significance of the thymus and lymph glandulars?
Susser: The Cobiozin nutrients used with the thymus and lymph are very important. They are used as a team. The thymus and lymph provide special nutrients to nourish these glands, plus energizing RNA, which directs these nutrients and the other nutrients in Cobiozin to these important glands in the body. The specially proportioned nutrients in the Cobiozin formula help encourage the normal and natural production of hormones by the glandular systems. This is very important because when the body produces these, there are no side effects like those associated with synthetic drugs.
NSA: How is Cobiozin different from sinus and seasonal support products?
Susser: The nutrients in Cobiozin can help to naturally balance the chemistry of the tissues in the nasal passages, not to add additional chemicals, which can upset the balance further and therefore complicate the situation. When the chemistry of these tissues is balanced, they neither produce too dry an effect nor too wet. This is what the Cobiozin formula does...without drowsiness, "dried-out" feeling, nosebleeds, blurred vision, rapid heartbeat, etc.
NSA: Can you tell us any more about Cobiozin?
Susser: Cobiozin was developed using both my pharmacy and my nutritional naturopathic background in order to lessen the need for harmful medication and also for the preventative aspects of health. Cobiozin should be used regularly to provide nutritional support to the body. Cobiozin nourishes the body so that it does not need to produce phlegm and mucus. Building, instead of destroying is the best way to put it. Cobiozin can be safely used with other types of medications.
